BREAKING: Air Jordan 28 Jackets Drop on Weidian via Lovegobuy

Exclusive Report by cafans.com | Published: Today | Category: Sneaker & Streetwear News

cafans.com has obtained exclusive information confirming the immediate release of the highly anticipated Air Jordan 28 Jackets collection on the Chinese e-commerce platform Weidian. This limited-edition apparel line, directly inspired by the iconic AJ28 sneaker's design language and technology, represents a major crossover moment for Jordan Brand. Key features include premium weather-resistant materials, integrated thermal lining inspired by the AJ28's Flight Plate technology, and signature design elements pulled from the shoe's 2013 release. The official drop occurred at 10:00 AM CST today, with initial stock reported as extremely limited. Early indicators from cafans.com's market trackers show demand already spiking 300% above projections, signaling a potential instant sell-out. This release marks a strategic expansion of the AJ28's legacy into high-performance streetwear.

Product Deep Dive: Specs & Innovation

The Air Jordan 28 Jackets are not mere merchandise; they are technical apparel. Constructed from a proprietary blend of nylon and polyester with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish, the jackets mirror the AJ28's focus on lightweight performance. The standout feature is the "Flight Liner," a removable thermal layer that mimics the shoe's unlocked Zoom Air cushioning concept, providing adaptable warmth. Design cues are meticulous: the signature herringbone pattern from the outsole is subtly embedded in the lining, and the iconic 23/28 branding is featured on the left sleeve. Available in three colorways—"Black Cat," "Green Glow," and the ultra-limited "Year of the Horse" tribute—each jacket is priced at approximately $220 USD. Compared to previous Jordan apparel drops, this line offers a significantly higher level of technical integration and narrative connection to its sneaker counterpart. cafans.com's product team notes this sets a new benchmark for brand cross-pollination.

Market Frenzy: Demand Analysis & Resale Forecast

Within minutes of the announcement, social media platforms like Weibo and Douyin exploded with the hashtags #AJ28Jacket and #JordanWear, generating over 50,000 mentions in the first hour. Pre-order inquiries through agents like Lovegobuy have reportedly overwhelmed some Weidian storefronts. Data from cafans.com's live market dashboard indicates a pre-resale price projection starting at $400-$500 for the core colorways, with the "Year of the Horse" edition predicted to reach $800+ on secondary markets like StockX and Poizon almost immediately. This surge is fueled by both dedicated AJ28 sneaker collectors and streetwear investors recognizing the unique proposition. The trend points towards a growing appetite for limited, narrative-driven apparel that complements iconic sneaker silhouettes.
