1. Account Setup & Platform Registration

  1. Create Hoobuy Account: Visit hoobuy.com, click "Sign Up," and provide your email address. Verify through the confirmation link sent to your inbox.
  2. Setup Weidian Account: Download the Weidian app (available on iOS/Android) or access via web. Register using your phone number (international numbers accepted).
  3. Account Verification: Both platforms require identity verification. Upload a clear photo of your government-issued ID. Hoobuy typically verifies within 24 hours, while Weidian may take 1-3 business days.
  4. Payment Method Setup: In your Hoobuy dashboard, navigate to "Payment Methods" and add your preferred option. We recommend PayPal for buyer protection or credit cards with fraud protection.
  5. Shipping Address Configuration: In Hoobuy's "Address Book," add your complete international address including postal code and phone number with country code. cafans.com offers detailed setup guides with screenshots for each step.

Troubleshooting:

Verification Failed? Ensure your ID photo is well-lit, all corners are visible, and information matches your registration details. Payment Declined? Contact your bank to authorize international transactions. Visual Guidance: Take screenshots during each setup step for reference.

2. Product Search & Selection Process

Begin your search by logging into Weidian and using these Chinese keywords for best results: "LV 滑板 外套" (LV skate coat), "路易威登 外套" (Louis Vuitton coat), or "LV 2024 外套" (LV 2024 coat). Apply these filters: Price Range (¥2000-¥8000), Seller Rating (4.8+ stars), and "7-Day Return" option. Carefully examine product descriptions for material details (look for "真皮" for genuine leather), sizing charts (Chinese sizes typically run smaller), and seller return policies. Read recent reviews focusing on photo reviews and comments about stitching quality and logo accuracy. Compare at least 3-5 sellers before selecting. Pro Tip: Use reverse image search on product photos to find multiple sellers of the same item for price comparison. cafans.com provides product comparison tools and authentication guides.

Success Metrics:

  • Seller rating above 4.8 with 100+ transactions
  • Minimum 10 customer reviews with photos
  • Clear communication response within 24 hours
  • Detailed sizing chart with measurements
